Within the steels on which we can use this process, there are:<\/p>\n<p>High speed<br \/>\nsteels<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>M2<\/li>\n<li>M35<\/li>\n<li>M42<\/li>\n<li>T4<\/li>\n<li>Among others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Machinery grade<br \/>\nsteels<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4140<\/li>\n<li>1045\u200b<\/li>\n<li>1018\u200b<\/li>\n<li>1060\u200b<\/li>\n<li>1075<\/li>\n<li>Among others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tool grade<br \/>\nsteels<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>H11\u200b<\/li>\n<li>H13\u200b\u200b<\/li>\n<li>D2\u200b<\/li>\n<li>D3\u200b\u200b<\/li>\n<li>01<\/li>\n<li>A2\u200b<\/li>\n<li>Among others\u200b<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Stainless steels<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"367\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/grupohbm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grupohbm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_2.jpg 367w, https:\/\/grupohbm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_2-294x300.jpg 294w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 367px) 100vw, 367px\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"247\" height=\"253\" src=\"https:\/\/grupohbm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/2_img-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<h2>VACUUM TEMPERED<\/h2>\n<p>It is the thermic treatment process where pieces are placed in a chamber subject to high vacuum, and at the same time, through electric resistances (usually made of graphite), all the chamber is heated to the desired temperature for the process.<\/p>\n<p>One of the advantages of this process is that the material does not have contact with any element, which makes it a clean job.<\/p>\n<p>In HBM we have 3 high-vacuum furnaces where we temperate, among others, the following kinds of steel:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>D2<\/li>\n<li>H13<\/li>\n<li>A2<\/li>\n<li>S7<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>D2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>H13<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>A2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>S7<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"367\" height=\"183\" src=\"https:\/\/grupohbm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grupohbm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_3.jpg 367w, https:\/\/grupohbm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_3-300x150.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 367px) 100vw, 367px\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"247\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/grupohbm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/3_img-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<h2>ANNEALING<\/h2>\n<p>Basically, it consists in a heating to the austenitizing temperature (800-925\u00b0C) following by a slow cooling. With this treatment, we can increase elasticity while hardness decreases.<\/p>\n<p>It also eases the machining of the pieces by homogenizing the structure, tunning the ground, and softening the material, eliminating the acridity produced by the cold work and the internal tensions.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"367\" height=\"244\" src=\"https:\/\/grupohbm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_4.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grupohbm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_4.jpg 367w, https:\/\/grupohbm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/img_4-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 367px) 100vw, 367px\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"247\" height=\"305\" src=\"https:\/\/grupohbm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/4_img-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grupohbm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/4_img-2.jpg 247w, https:\/\/grupohbm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/4_img-2-243x300.jpg 243w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 247px) 100vw, 247px\"><\/p>\n<h2>NITRIDING<\/h2>\n<p>It is a thermochemical treatment which modifies the steel composition adding nitrogen while it is heated.
