OUR HISTORY
In HBM we operate since 1970; we began manufacturing standard taps and special taps, and by the end of that decade, we were also manufacturing special decks.
At the beginning of 1980, we started manufacturing taps and gauges thread checkers, and we began to provide the thermic treatment in bath of salt service.
In the year 1994, the first high-vacuum furnace was bought, we currently have three high-vacuum furnaces and we also provide the nitriding service and we are certified under the standard ISO 9000:2015.
It was the year 2010 when, with a directive change, an ambitious program to renovate the companies begun. The vision consists in consolidating them as Grupo HBM, making the most of their experience to give integral solutions to their clients based on their specific needs and the market needs.
To accomplish this objective, we have invested on machinery and equipment renovations seeking international standards certifications. In the year 2017, we got the Standard ISO 17025 Certification before the EMA – Entidad Mexicana de Acreditación (Mexican Accreditation Entity) of our Dimensional Metrology Laboratory, making us a model on the manufacturing and inspection of thread checkers and studs/smooth ring gauges.
From 2018, in order to give service to the requirements of our clients, on HBM we began to give the machining service of only pieces as well as medium production.
In the year 2019, with the intention of having international presence formally, we consolidated a business alliance in the State of Texas, U.S.A., opening our first direct sales office in that country.
